American Car Show Oulu May 2016

Went to see some show cars with my friends last weekend. Here's a small collage of pictures from the show. I used a loaned pocket camera so image quality isn't the greatest. American Car Show is an annual event in Oulu and put together by American Car Club Oulu which was established in September 17 1979.

You can find out more of the show from their Facebook page and website (in Finnish):

  1. I wish they still made cars like this! These cars have such character and style compared to the cars of today. Older cars were built with attention to detail. It was easy to recognize a manufacturer and model as they were all so unique. Modern cars look so similar to each other, it's hard to tell them apart.

    1. Me too. You can see how different time periods have produced different types of cars. Regulations and legislation have also affected quite a lot to car designing.

I went to another Finnish car show last week end where they displayed lots of similar cars to these ones. In Finland we call them Yankee cars. I took quite a lot of pictures while my stay. I will upload them asap.
